I posted this in the Spikes Tactical forum also, but I thought i might get more lookers here.

Got my ST-22 yesterday, and I really like it. Took it out last night and it ran perfect. I decided to give it a try on my M16 lower this evening. Well, it did not work so good. With the M16 lower set on semi, the thing runs awesome. No FTE, FTF, or anything.

When I set it on full auto, I am having a problem. I can only get one round at a time. The first round fires, the case ejects just fine, and a new round is chambered, but then the hammer is not cocked back. I am guessing the hammer is not catching on the sear, and is just following the bolt home. It is not slam firing though.

Where do I need to start? Do I need to trim the recoil spring to let the the hammer come back to catch on the sear? I am using a regular power hammer spring, and I would really like to leave it that way. I use the M16 lower on several different .223 and 9mm uppers.

I got the tune up kit with the upper, so I should have the parts to make it work, I'm just not sure where to start

Also, with the auto trip kit, I got the anti-bounce weight, and also the ball and spring deal. Do I install both at the same time?

Does the thing pass a function check when you hand cycle it in full-auto mode?  If so, you may be getting bolt bounce.   Check the FA Tuning Thread over in the Spikes Industry forum.
