Can anyone suggest a twist for my barrel.

I will be getting a 16" stainless bull barrel in 5.56. Its available in 1/8 or 1/9.

I think there is alot that goes into it, like the bullet weight.

Im looking to mostly shoot 56-62 grain rounds if that helps.

1/9 then.

1/8 for some heavier bullets- up to 80gr

Of the 2 I'd pick the 1/8. You can shoot everything from 55gr to 77gr.

ETA: Read the ammo oracle/use the search function if you haven't already.
