I'd like to know what width/diameter the flutes on most fluted AR barrels are. I eventually plan on fluting my 20" RRA stainless HBAR. I'm ordering some tooling and parts for my machines and I'd like to pick up my endmill at the same time to save on shipping. Thanks

Bust out the dremel and just do what feels right...

I'd say .250" depending on barrel dia.

Get a horizontal mill.
That's the best way to cut flutes, in my opinion.
