Who makes the 3 point slings for the USMC M16A4?

My guess is Blackhawk.

You are right.....it was a guess.
There is no single maker of "the Marine" sling.  Most are purchased after the fact and there is a mix of black ones and coyote brown ones made by just about every maker known to make them.  Specter Gear seems to have the MCX locked up.

Lately in the USAF, OG 2 points are being changed out for 3 points for the people that deploy during the pre deployment training portion or downrange. When I attended training (with the Army no less), I had to set up almost everyone's 3 point sling because most didn't know how to or the instructions were confusing. Granted, this is a user error, however there is just something "dummy proof" about the GI 2 point mounted to the stock sling swivels. Most people (in the USAF) that like using the 3 point is because they do not go out on patrols yet they have to carry thier rifle everywhere they go and sling it across thier front/side/back for comfort. Pesornally I don't like them because they're cumbersome to don/doff and because they tend to flop around when you're walking. I hacked mine into a 2 point and use the buttstock & front sling swivel portions for mounting so that the rifle lays flat across my front instead of digging the mag bottom or case deflector into my stomach or lower back.
