Notice in several of the pics the rear sight is up on the 800m setting? they've got a few of the raptors, IIRC. heavy NV use there, like us. good catch on that sight setting. guess if the DMR's sight goes down, he wants to be ready to shoot pretty darned far... but given that massive cheekpiece, it is puzzling. ETA wait........ ohhhhhh I get it now. they raise the rear sight as high as they can to use (probably just barely) the sights with the cheek rest on!!!! that's gotta be it, no? still not comfy, but smarter than keeping it down. |

That stock attachment looks like the old Colt Delta stock setup.
