| So I have Troy's. I saw that they came out with night sights for the AR. They say they need an armorer to install them. It looks like the rear post is just screwed in, and the front sight post does too. Am I wrong in this assumption? I always got the impression when sighting in the rifle on the front sight post if I screwed far enough out the post would fall out. I haven't really ever fiddled with the rear sight aperture, but it looks like if you just unscrew the right places it comes apart too. |

They say you need an Armorer to install em is because the intended end-user is most likely military personnel, and they are trained to shoot the rifles not build em. Really nothing to it, even for a grunt in the field...bullet tip to depress the detent, unscrew the old sight, screw in the new one, release detent. |
