Begins with a long awaited Rock Creek 5R 18" 1 in 8 twist Wylde chambered, fluted barrel which willbe melonited after breakin. Noveske clamp on switchblock and Rainer Arms Ulta Match A3 bilet upper will be the heart of this system.

Fortunately live in a free state so the AAC 51T miter mount will accomidate my SPR-M4

Blackheart International free float forearm (first generation) as currently riding on my Colt 6724, and the Colt lower with Giessele match trigger group, Tubb CS springs A2 stock. Also going to scavange the GG&G riser block for the Leupold Mark4 - 16X or a 3.5 x 10, undecided as yet on the optic. My hope it to achiveve precision of approximately 1/2 MOA at all ranges shot using Sierra 77 grain SMK's.

Since the melonite or black nitride coating greatly reduces wear in the bore it is advisable to stablize the rifles performance before the coating.  This is the same concept as those that don't believe in breakin versus those like myself that do.  The chamber reamer leaves small marks in the throat i would prefer not to have for the duration of the barrels life, so i will break it in first.
