I came across a Rock River Upper. I also question if it came from the factory or not?
This is the information about it: Tactical Upper Half, .233/5.56 chamber, Flat top upper, 16” Wilson M4 profile 1/9 twist (moly chrome), Low profile gas block, Quad rail (free float), NO flash hider, and NO carrier or bolt. They want $500 is it worth that? Update: Here is a picture that was sent to me of it.

figure it like this, to piece that thing together will cost you nearly that if it has the quad rail and other parts,
at this point in the game, you cant complain on price unless you are building the gun yourself. People are buying crap for the price of cocaine, good luck brother! |

UMMM NO If you buy that upper, then pay $130 for just the bolt carrier group, you have already spent more than the cost of a complete Del-Ton kit. | Yeah, I agree that the price is too high. No disrespect to the guy trying to sell it though. You can piece that upper together yourself for about $400 or a little less and gain some of the knowledge of AR construction that you should probably learn anyway. Go to your favorite local gun show, buy a Marine Corps M16/ AR manual, shop for your parts and then go like hell. IMHO, I find building/ working on these black rifles is half the fun. Good luck. |
