I have a brand new LMT Defender lower and a brand new Spikes Mid Length M4 LE upper. I put the two together for some TPC 3 gun matches that have 150 yards max for rifle targets. The two went together no problem and it fired with no issues when I sighted it in.
While there is some gap between the upper and lower there seems to be a significant amount of play between the two. I can hold the forearm in one hand and with the pistol grip rock the lower back and forth (perpendicular to the barrel). The gap between the upper and lower goes from zero to .02". Is this something that can be fixed or is it acceptable when pair parts from different manufacturers? Thanks... |
