Got a Larue trigger and 14.5" Stealth barrel that I'm itching to build a 3Gun rifle with. Thinking of pairing it up with a Seekins MLOK rail, but I'm needing upper and lower recommendations. This is going to be the first AR I've built in over 5 years.

Any uppers and lowers that stand out and aren't huge cash?

I use cheap blem lowers and a Rainier FA-less upper.

I like to pay less for lowers. My first two were Aero Precision blemished. They have the takedown detent hole threaded on all their uppers (AFAIK it's all of them), which I like because you can ignore it if you don't want to use a set screw. They're also all low shelf, again IIRC. I think mine are, though I don't have anything to compare them to, so I have to go by internet pics which aren't exactly definitive. AP blem lowers were going for $63 last I checked.

Anderson's another option, $43 each last time I checked, and IIRC.

If you want cheap and don't care about a rollmark then Anderson is probably the best to go with.

If you want a cool/no roll mark the price can vary greatly

I have a LaRue PredatAR barrel (16") that I'm going to be building a 3-Gun rifle with. I decided to go with this

2A Armament Balios Lite matched receiver and 15" keymod rail (rail also comes in M-LOK). Total weight is 1 lb. 6.4oz. This receiver set is some of the finest machine work I've seen. I have this set getting cerakoted.
