Hello All,

I've been tracking my upper receiver wear on my POF - P415 since buying it new.

This shot was taken after roughly 700 rounds, and really didnt bother me all that much...

Here's a shot i just took after surpassing 1500 rounds

The rifle has been run wet since new with either Break-Free CLP or MPro7.  95% of the ammo has been Lake City XM193, and the rest was a mix of PMC and Federal.

I understand wear takes place, and can accept that, however should i be concerned with the amount of wear i'm seeing after 1500 rounds?

Thanks,

Matt

Are you running one of POF's "roller" cam pins? I dropped one in my Adams rig and have had no discernible wear in 1500 rounds or so. You might want to shoot those pics to the POF folks and see what they say. I don't own a POF but that looks excessive (IMHO).

This isn't a phenomenon solely related to piston guns.  I've seen a number of DI guns with similar, or worse, wear.

had the same wear in my DI gun as well.

Looks EXACTLY like the wear in my "DI" uppers. I call it normal.
