It seems like a step backward... Not that I PLAN or think I will ever be involved in a prolonged fire-fight (or any for that matter) I would think that the build-up of heat and carbon could lead to a FTF (regardless of fit and finish and ammo selection) and that the FA would come in very handy... Preparing for enlightenment... |
| If I was going into combat I'd want one. Being stuck with a jammed weapon in a firefight would be something of an inconvieniance. Otherwise...it's not very usefull. I've had to use it once, because the magazine follower tilted and the round didn't feed at the right angle. I switched it out with a magpul follower and haven't had a problem since. |

IMHO its sorta stupid to have on a range weapon. if you only want it for the "look" of a combat weapon then thats ok too. Saw a guy at the range one day, bumping his shell deflector, I looked at him and said, "let me guess, you are just used to doing it" He said, "ya feels funny, but I cant stop myself" |
