Using rifle-length buffer tube on an AR pistol?

Any technical issues with such a combination? I plan to use one of these:

Any other parts needed than the correct buffer and spring? Not planning to use anything that qualifies as a stock.

In the era before braces that was a common pistol configuration. Works fine. Guys used to wrap them with 550 cord and shove a rubber cane tip on the end.

Not sure if the wraps and tips are still kosher, the whole brace thing muddied water many times. Bare RE is fine, always has been.

I assembled a 300blk pistol with a rifle buffer tube, RB5007 hydraulic buffer, tubb flat spring. It required a spacer to work. If your using a rifle buffer you won't need a spacer.
