I just picked up a a Inforce light along with a Thorntail mount.  Im having trouble figuring out where to place it for the most comfort and usability.  My rifle is a DD V7.  I use the thumb over the rail grip, along with a BCM short vert grip.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks.

I've got one of their older 9V, no vertical grip.  I put it on the left rail, w/ their mount pointing up, so I can reach the rear button w/ my thumb.

Thanks.  At first I had it on the right side, but earlier this morning I swapped it over to the left.  Better for sure, but not quite "perfect."

Thanks!

Are you mounting it on the side rail or top rail?  Seems like the top rail on the left would get it a little higher...more 11:00 than 10:00 which may not be as far a move for your thumb to activate the light.

Side rail.  I've found that the barrel casts a nice shadow too.

I'll try to post a picture.

I'm actually using the TD stubby now, but either way the light works great where it is. Easy to activate with a forward thumb.
