When using the MIAD grip on the forend how does it attach to the hand guards? I assume via a standard picatinny rail but I don't feel like taking mine off to check.
Also, does anyone know where I can get picatinny rail sections to attach to the Magpul hand guards? |

If you buy the full kit there is an extra piece in there, front strap, that is for use as a VFG. However, you need the rail adapter made my ARMS for this to work. I don't recall the model number but its listed in the manual that came with the MIAD full kit.
The rails sections you seek are available on the Magpul web page. They are also made by Ergo / Falcon. You can order directly from Ergo, and shipping is faster then from MP directly. |

Awesome, those look like they will work perfectly. Any recommendations on which size to get? |
| I have one of these: ar grip adapter but I don't have a MIAD to see what is looks like. At least it would be level and not swept like the pic above. |
