I'm interested in getting a Blue Force Gear padded VCAS sling.  Sorry if this is a stupid question, but from looking around at various websites/stores, I'm wondering how one would use it with H&K hook type attachments.  Does it come with some or is there a way to use them with it?  Pics showing a set-up like this are welcome

Are you talking about threading the sling into the HK hooks? Or what to attach the HK hooks to on the rifle?

I'm building a Mk18 mod0 clone.  It uses CQD sling mounts, both front and back.  These are used for H&K style hook connectors.  BFG makes the "contractor" sling with buckles that you can change the attachment points to whatever method you need to attach the sling to the rifle.  This rifle will have the CQD sling plates, so I'm looking for a way to use the VCAS with these mounts other than threading it through the loops.  I want to be able to quickly disconnect from the rifle if I need.

What you will probably have to do is buy the sling and HK Hooks seperately, and have a shop with an industrial sewing machine sew them up for you.  In the end it shouldn't be that expensive.
You could get this sling
These Hooks

And call around to find a shop that has a machine capible of sewing up seatbelt material.  You should be able to have the work done for around $25

I went this same route when I added PB connectors to my first VCAS sling (before they were available with PB connectors from Blackstone)

Thanks for the links.  That's what I was looking for.  From what I understand about the sling, you should be able to use these hooks without even sewing, just loop the sling back through the buckle, right?

Yes with the VCAS standard or standard padded slings you could mount any hooks, swivels, etc, without sewing anything, just install it with the buckle.

Another quick question: how secure is the slider/adjuster part of this sling?  Does it slide under tension or is it secure?  Thinking about the getting the Blue Force Gear Medic Sling.  Seems like it is the VCAS, but with a slider/adjuster on both ends for a more snug fit when cinched down.

ive been using qd swivels with my padded vcas for a while now.... no sewing involved. i did cut some length off of the sling though. it was a little too long for my liking at first but now works great.
