Looking to get a VFG and was looking at this one from Spike's, has anyone tried it?
Spike's VFG

I like that it gives me the option to go stubby or regular length and at the cost of $35.  Any advice or recommendations are appreciated, thanks.

I have no personal experience with this perticular VFG but I can say that Spike's is manufacturing some very high quality products.  If this VFG is as nice as the rest of their products it's probably goo to go!  What I have used: Tango Down QD (I love it!!!), Tango Down QD stubby (love it!), Bobro (both standard and stubby) (Very nice also!!!), and LaRue (very nice!).  Troy also makes a very nice VFG which converts from standard to stubby...it's also made of metal not polymer if that is of any concern.

Looks ok but if you order it from Spikes don't expect to get it for at least a week and a half.  Their shipping is terribly slow.

I've had good luck with their small items being shipped quickly and I'm also in no rush either way.  Do yall think it's a good deal for the price?  From the prices of tangodown and bobro etc. I was thinking yes but unsure......

It looks pretty solid but make sure what your personal requirements are. If you need a VFG to hold items and be waterproof there is a difference water resistant and water proof!  If you're just storing things and don't forsee yourself going into the drink with your rifle water resistant is probably fine!  It looks good and it appears to be priced well!
