I noticed the rear sling mount goes on the Top of the butt stock..
#1, Is there a mod so my 6-point stock will be able to use this?
#2, Doesn't this run against your cheek?

The VTAC does not have to run over the top of the stock. As a matter of fact, most I've seen run it though the slot in the back of the stock so the sling is on the side of rifle.

I installed a HK style hook and hook it to a sling plate at the back of the receiver. you can mount it whichever way you want. Hooks, QD buttons, etc.
