If I order a VTAC padded sling, p/n VTACMK2CY, can I add QD's to it? I just read some posts saying they have a version with QD's sewn into the sling. Just want to be sure I can add QD's to this model without having to 'sew them in'. I already have the QD's, so don't want to order a sling with more QD's. I assume I can attach the QD's by looping the sling through buckles, but just to be sure before I order. There's nothing I can see on the VTAC web site that really spells this out.

| I don't have the VTAC sling, I have a Vickers sling from Blue Force Gear, and yes, I've got it hooked up to QD swivels. Blue Force gear used to make a sling with QD swivels sewn in, but they've removed it from their website. The VTAC sling and VCAS are very similar from what I understand. The VTAC website shows their sling looped through QDs so I think you're good to go. |
