I am finally moving away from bungee type single point slings.  The carbine class I was in two weeks ago convince me to dump it.  I just bought a VTAC from Brownells and put it on today and I gotta say I love it.  But before I commit to the VTAC completely, does anyone have a better opinion of the VCAS or MS3?  Thanks.

I like the new MS3 a lot. In my opinion, the wider strap and improved material makes the MS3 almost as good in the two point configuration as the VCAS sling. Add to that the versatility of the single point configuration and I think the MS3 is pretty sweet. The new hardware on the MS3 is also a huge upgrade from the previous generation.

I haven't used the MS3, but I have tried the VCAS, VTAC and MS2. I prefer the VCAS.

I used the same as him and I'd go VCAS or VTAC, both padded and unpadded...I like 'em all.

If you want convertible, get the tri-glide thing for your good two point...but really...the good solid two point does all that I need.

I don't think a single single does it all, to me a sling fits a specific rifle which in turn meets a specific role. I use padded VCAS slings on my carbines, non padded VCAS slings on short(er) bolt action rifles and VTAC slings on my precision ARs.

The new MS3 has me considering putting an ASAP on my precision rifle that currently is setup for a dedicated 2 pt.  Thats how much I like it.

What is a good price on a padded VCAS with QD attachments? I am interested in purchasing one myself.

What's the difference between the vcas and vtac slings?
