I saw my first Versa Pod yesterday and I am impressed. I have been using Harris for a number of years, but I am impressed with the VP. I have a RRA 18" varmit upper that is going on a RRA NM lower and I think I may switch to the Versa Pod. What is the experience out there and does the pod have quality and is it reliable? Thanks, 77Bronc |
| i got a versa and it flopped around like others have said. But I fixed it by removing the bolt and taking a 38 special case and cut the rim off to use as a bushing to stabilize the bipod. Is it better than a Harris? No. the versa has a tendency to flop to the side and make the rifle fall over. On rough ground it can articulate far more than the Harris but I don’t shoot off of the sides of a hill very often. |
