shopping for a new optic i saw this. looks pretty cool. Anyone have experience with it? i know its made in China by nCstar. Lots of optics are made there these days. Vortex etc.

I'd be all over that, even for $50-100 more... if it were made by Vortex or imported/made to spec by Primary Arms.
It's got a lot of "good reviews" on Optics Planet from people who probably only ever use it at a range/bench. Amazon has a lot of 2 star reviews with anecdotal problems with spotty battery contacts, or breakage with loss of zero. I will say that NcStar seems to be "upping their game" but by that I mean they've got someone who's savvy about copying the look and feel of more top-tier products. So far it hasn't carried over into QC. |
