I know Vltor has been discussed before, but I have a question. I want to buy a Vltor stock, but noticed Vltor sells either the stock by itself, or the stock w/ a buffer tube and spring. I already have a complete AR. Is there any advantage to getting the Vltor buffer tube?    Also, RRA uses a "commercial size" buffer tube, correct?

Yes, RRA is commercial.  Depends on what stock you want.  Emod comes in both flavors.  The older modstocks are milspec only.

More of a cool feature than an advantage, the Vltor buffer tube has the positions (1-5) marked on the top of the tube.

I have a VLTOR mil-spec tube on my Mforgery along with a Magpul CTR stock,
I drilled the CTR stock so I can see the numbered adjustments, pretty cool indeed and a very well made extension tube!
