I just got a Vortex Strike Eagle from Ikon Goods through Amazon. $282.99. Because they are sold separately, I didn't expect it to have the flip-up lens caps. But, it did. I read many reviews before I purchased it, but was not prepared to be so impressed with it. The reticle is very crisp and illuminates well. The 6X magnification brought objects much closer than I had anticipated. I ordered a P.E.P.R. mount from Burris. I can't wait to slap it on my Colt 6920 and get to the range. Thanks, Vortex, Ikon, and Amazon.

I dont think a strike eagle is a jump from a PST series, other than magnification. Im in a debate with myself which if these to purchase. I have a 2.5x10 pst now, and its great. Im think i should stick with that series. |
