| Just received my Vortex Strikefire Bright Red optic. Just looking through it iI can see a faint red circle around the lens area and almost reflects throughout the tube. It gets worse as brightness is turned up. Is normal for a red dot tube? Thanks |
| I have this same scope/red dot. When I am using it I notice the same things you are seeing, however I generally find that if I am seeing it on mine, I have the brightness way too high. When it is a bright day outside I have it on full brightness and do not notice any of those things. Another thing I noticed that the more I backed away from it, the better my groupings became and I saw less "glow" from the dot. |
