There is a reflection in the glass from something inside the the sight, and it apparently pisses some people off.

The reflection is something inherent in all red dot sights because you are reflecting an LED from the back of the sight off of the objective lens and there will always be some residual reflection of internal components off of the objective as well. If you put the sight in the right lighting conditions you will notice it.
However, if you are shooting both eyes open, as you should with an RDS, then it really shouldn't be a problem. I think most people haven't noticed it until it was pointed out to them. We are working on a way to see if we can reduce it further anyhow, but the design of this class of sight will dictate that there will always be some amount of internal reflection. |

Got one, like it.
So far its been problem free, I have yet to notice the reflection everyone keeps talking about. The 2x doubler was really a selling point for me since I'm a bit nearsighted, its nice having the option. Even without it though, its an easy to use sight. Been busy as hell lately with work so havn't got to shoot as much as I'd like with it yet, but overall see myself keeping this thing a long time. |
