| I've been looking for a scope for a MK12 build that I am starting. I've been looking at the Vortex PST 2.5-10, but I came across the HS-T 4-16. It looks like the PST without the illumination, which I can honestly live without. Does anybody know if the glass quality is the same between the HS-T and the PST? |

I prefer MRADs. It's a little more coarse than 1/4 MOA and its just easier for me to think in .10 increments than in fractions.
Also most people who will be spotting will be using a mil-based reticle in a rifle scope or spotting scope. Another reason to stick with MRADs is so your system will be the same as theirs if they are spotting for you. |

I was also looking at that scope for my 308 build and also the 2.5-10 for my SPR build. Don't need/want the illumination either. Hopefully someone who has either scope can chime in. I don't know enough yet to know if I want MOA or the MRAD. Obviously. As long as the reticles match, you'll have a good time. |

Unless you are already so familiar with MOA that changing would be difficult, go with mil/mil. |
