I first tried the Spitfire, but I just didn't like the low power (3x) coupled with a reticle that I had a hard time seeing. The next try of a UTG scope proved that lens quality mattered.  Now I've got the Strike Eagle, and I couldn't be happier.  Very clear glass and a reticle that's both easy to see and useful.  I also like that they have a spare battery (if you use the illumination a lot) inside the windage cap.  Their mount is the stoutest version I've ever seen for a scope, and that includes what I have for my .50BMG.  I'll be sticking with this one until the gun (or operator) wears out.

Maybe I got a bad one.
I didn't think the glass was clear, and I noticed a ton of fisheye in 1x.

I have one on my LWRC AR. duty rifle.
I have no complaints about it, and I have used a lot of optics, icluding ACOG, Nikon, Nightforce, US Optics, etc, etc.

It's a great scope for its price point.  I sold mine for a P4Xi that has clearer glass and a better 1x, worth losing the 5-6x for my needs (don't shoot past 300 yds).

I am a fan of the Viper PST 1-4. However, my dad just put a Strike Eagle on his 300BLK carbine and it is good to go. For the price I think they are damn hard to beat and may switch to those in the future.
