[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Vortex scope delivery

Wondering what anyone has found as a delivery time on the ViperPST. Dealer told me 10 weeks and we are now at about 12. What have others found to be the total wait time. The new rifle came in and I'm getting itchy to get it all together and test it out.

why not just buy online? many retailers should have them in stock. maybe depends on the model you want.

bought a 2.5-10x MOA reticule from binoculars.com short while back, they have plenty.

Good question about buying on line. The version I am looking at is a 6-24x50 and it seemed like everyine had them on backorder. I saw several on line posts about how the buyers were getting led on by the vendors. I thought I would use my local store and support them. Price was the same no matter where I bought. Will just keep waiting.

SWFA has a real fast delivery time. I did a trade with them and it only took about a week to get my vortex strikefire from the day they received my trade.
