I am wanting to buy a budget optic because I don't have the money it takes to buy a eotch or aimpoint and was thinking about a Voretx Strikeforce any input on them?

Do some searches. I remember a big ass thread on these a few months ago.

Much has been discussed about the Vortex Strikefire. Let Google do the walking.

I have one.  My opinion: Excellent bang for your buck.  Vortex stuff comes with a lifetime warranty & they strive to satisfy their customers.  Just one thing: The battery it takes - the CR-2 - don't come cheap!!!

As always, YMMV!

got one and thinking about buying another. I understand they have great customer service but I have not had to explore that avenue.

Overall, I like mine. Mark LaRue and Butler Creek will address the only gripes I have about it.

Find one on EE, see what you think. It's a decent intro to red dots that should hold up to range use just fine.
