Hello there folks, so I'm building a rifle similar to DPMS's mini SASS.  They use a Harris 9-13" bipod, but for some reason, I think that is going to be too tall for my purposes.  I attempted to find some info on this, to no avail.  I was thinking a 6-9" would be more appropriate.  Anyone have experience with this?  Thanks a lot!

I use a 6-9 on my BCM midlength 16" with no problems at all. I use 20 round mags with it and have never extended the legs beyond the fully collapsed 6" (benchrest).

Im haveing the same issue i was just unsure if the 6- 9" would be enough height in the prone position or at distance.
