Anyone hear anything about a new red dot 1-5x coming out at 2010 shotshow by Weaver tactical? Supposedly has NightForce glass in it...all for less than $600. Any info would be appreciated.

If that's an actual 1 power on the 1-5x it does sound interesting.

Nightforce buys their glass just like everyone else. I cannot recall which facility they get their glass from in japan, but I believe Weaver glass is now coming from LOW (light optical works) out of Japan and it is very high quality.

yeah they do buy their glass but do they do their own coatings (which makes a huge difference)
