With all of the controversy concerning eBay/Papal I use two rules of thumb when
buying on eBay. Buy brand name parts from good sellers and you shouldn't have any problems. The two instances I had to return parts on eBay- they were both no-name "mil-spec" parts. They weren't worth the envelope they are sent in. They were total garbage and I sent them back for a refund. I've bought Rock River, PSA, and AIM stuff with no problems. |

Check this out, mil spec buffer tube kit and lower parts kit. http://www.omegamanufacturinginc.com/Omega-Mfg-complete-AR-15-Lower-Parts-Kit-including-mil-spec-buffer-tube-assembly_p_512.html Great quality, all I use and never had an issue. |

if your looking for a LPK that is tailored to your specific wants...red barn armory all the way. you create your own LPK and save some money at the same time. I paid $257 after shipping for a Geissele SSA trigger, magpul grip, magpul trigger guard, mil spec selector, mil spec takedown pins and all the springs and detents come with of course. Very convenient if you want certain parts.

Now if you are going to switch out the FCG get the Spikes with out the FCG. Last I bought and used the LPK, They were both very good and the deciding factor would be the price. |

The riskiest thing I bought on eBay that's gun related is a PVS-4 night optic, AA adapter, a rail kit for it, and two reticle lenses for 7.62 and 5.56. It was probably the best purchase I made and I really like it and it has a clear, bright tube with it. I would say to add to your general rule is to make sure the seller has actual pictures of the product and not a stock image. |
