In his book Chris Kyle states that he used 32X Night Force scopes on his rifles.

Also in the book, the Mk12 has a 16" barrel...

I cant remember what scope the Holland uses, but is it possible it was a Holland? I'm not sure if the time frames match up for that, but it's definitely uber possible he didn't correctly remember what he had by the time he wrote the book, like you said.

I served, MACV, 70',71' Tan Son Nhut and Da Nang.
I was not in the field but I saw plenty of body bags.

I may not have been in "combat" but I understand
wasting American lives over 3 Taliban who would
have killed the team in a second if given the chance.
This is what happens when lawyers and PC run the military.

If the team kept their mouth shut there would be no judged by 12
and there is a good chance they would all be alive today.

You have your opinion and I have mine so we will just have to agree to disagree.

No. Hollands were with a single ODA team, AFAIK.

Kyle just got the details wrong.
