I stumbled upon this pic... i apologize if this has been answered before....(or if its not retro) but its gray! and looks like an A1 Grip...
WHAT IS IT???
The guy looks phillipine...is the rifle a phillipine variant?

Looks like the Philipino's bought some DPMS uppers for their M16A1 lowers.
Sort of a Marksmans rifle or SPR.

the free float tube and upper kinda looks like DPMS stuff
ETA: must learn to cut, paste and type quicker

I'd guess it is actually a
613-P
with a new upper.

The upper looks like an A1 with the rails welded on - look just above the charging handle.
Nevermind. A closer inspection makes it look like the indentation in the carry handle, but it's too high (where the rear sight should be).
