I have a $100 gift certificate to Brownells coming and am wondering what flattop A3 style upper(W/O barrel) to get to put on my Hesse**?
I do not want a stripped upper if I can get a decent assembled upper*(see below) as I plan to get a 16" barrel later on so that I have either an A2 style W/20" or 16" barrel (stock Hesse upper and 20" barrel etc.) & an A3 style with either the hesse 20" or ???16" barrel ( meaning the barrels will be interchanged on 2 different upper's for various occasions etc). The new upper will be a build for this winter with the current 20" barrel. Optics, sights etc have not been chosen yet for new upper. *I am not looking to spend much more than the $100 on an upper if I do not have to. If that means to get a decent upper I will have to look at a stripped upper I am willing to do so and get the bolt carrier group, charge handle, etc later, I will certainly entertain that idea. But IF there is an assembled upper that is decent in the $100 or so price range please let me know. Hope this isn't asking too much. **hesse rifle mentioned is an Hesse HAR-15A2-20"bbl, it has been very good to me in the 5,000 rds or so I have put through it in the past several years, if any more info on rifle is needed please ask.
