What angle or time should my AR upper be kicking BRASS out at??

My last upper was making a pile on the ground at like 4-5pm.. the BRAND new upper seems like 1:30-3pm..

* and about 7-10 feet out..

will this change with some break in??

last upper was DPMS 5.56 Oracle 1/9.. new is the PSA 1/7 16" HF Carbine..

I am running a standard Carbine Buffer.. (not an H)

If it isn't malfunctioning I wouldn't worry about it.

Just realized the BRASS deflector has marks on end of it.. so I guess all is WELL..

I'll have to re-check the THROW the next range outing.. maybe after 160 rounds the ANGLE settled in..

I didn't mean to be short but there are a number of things that can affect where/how one particular firearm ejects brass. The ejection pattern can be used to help try and diagnose a malfunctioning firearm though.

Shoot it and enjoy it.
