I use milspec buffer tubes. You have more options for stocks if you want to change it later. Do you already have your stock? If so that will determine the tube you need. If you don't have a stock yet look for a package deal - stock, tube, spring, and buffer. Denny and BCM both offer kits, are site sponsors, and are great to do business with. FYI - The buffer is what goes in the tube between the spring and bolt carrier.
