What is going to happen to me if I shoot this stuff in a normal 16" 5.56NATO chamber, 1/7 twist rifle?

I don't want to... I'm happy with what I'm using now... I'm just curious as to what is so wrong with shooting this?

post pics after trying it,

the bullet is longer than normal, requiring a larger throat, w/o it=bad things

It was loaded to an overall length of 2.500" IIRC.  It can not be fired from a standard magazine.

Wouldn't that make it a magazine, issue? Like "Don't buy this unless you have a funky magazine"

Post pics? Would it be impressive to watch? ...... Maybe I need to take one of my friends shooting again...

It also means that if you try to load the round into a 223 Remington chambered weapon, you're going to jam the bullet into the lands, push the bullet back in the case and cause an increase in chamber pressure in an already hot load.  Guess what happens when you pull the trigger?

Will it work in your average 5.56 or Wylde chamber?

In ARs with a short throat it frequently pops the primers out and tehy get into the FCG or into teh lug races of the barrel extension and screw things up for you when you least need it.

Saw it on several match ARs with .223 match chambers.  Single loaded, as they don't fit the mags.
