If there is another assault rifle ban like in the 90's, how would that affect current AR owners...? I guess one of the reasons I ask is because there are a few areas in the US that are currently pursuing this very thing. |
| I honestly dont think well see another federal one.Individual states are one thing maybe but the dems remeber why they lost the house and senate in the first place.I think states that have CCW laws wont have an assault weapon ban..anything can happen but I just dont see it. |
| I think Maryland is trying to pass one for 2007 right now. It says that current owners will have their "assault weapons" confiscated unless the register them. Of course, that means that later on if they want to collect all of them, they know exactly who has them. |

Quoted: you should read about Nutter and what he wants to do to Philly if he is elected!! this guy is a gun natzi!! "If such a declaration was made, the city would be empowered to limit or prohibit sidewalk or other outdoor gatherings; halt or limit cars and trucks within targeted neighborhoods; establish a curfew; and prohibit anyone from publicly selling, carrying or possessing any weapons" this is from www.pafoa.org/forum/news-123/2426-philadelphia-nutter-proposes-crime-plan-stops-sale-posession-carry-firearms.html#post23215 www.philly.com/mld/inquirer/n...l/16467989.htm |
Sounds like the beginning of many many books (Anthem, 1984, etc. etc.) |
