I'm looking at a AR-15 with a Bushmaster lower, but I do not know what make of upper this is.
There is only a key-hole shaped stamp on the upper.  What maker is this?

Thanks in advance

The upper is a raw forging by Cerro Fabricated but who actually made it you can only quess.  Cerro  supplies Bushmaster, RRA and I beleive Colt with their raw forging's.  Since it's on a Bushy lower the best quess is that it was made by Bushmaster.

With very few exceptions, there's no way to tell who made a receiver just from a forging mark.

Of all the upper receiver suppliers out there I can think of only four who mark their upper receivers.

Colt
LMT
Mega
and the newer RRA flat tops that come on complete rifles

Whenever there is a part that you cannot absolutely verify its authenticity, I always consider it less then what someone says it is.

It may be on a Bushmaster lower, but I have a CMT/STAG upper with the key hole marking.  And I am only saying its a CMT/STAG upper because the guy I bought it from said it was.

Never pay premium for a part you cant verify.
