What would cause a small crease in bullet case after ejected? happening to one of my new ARs. Can they still be reloaded?

If it is in the case mouth, it is probably from hitting the ejection port.
See if you have brass marks on the top or bottom edge of your ejection port. Have only seen that very few times, usually from a weak ejector spring. Or the extractor is holding onto the brass too long. |

If you lock your carrier to the rear and insert a mag, then hit your bolt release, then extract the loaded round. You will see the scratch on the loaded, unfired case. It is from the round being stripped from the mag/riding across the locking lugs of the barrel extension. |
