[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Where to get original forend...?

A friend has asked me to find him an original or replica forend for his AR-15...he says it was made in 1971.. and the forend is triangular in shape..I am not certain how many different forends are available or where to find them...any ideas..?

You should try the exchange board, you might be able to find some.

You should be able to pick up a set at the gun shows. Picked up a nice set at a local show here for $8 a couple of months back.
