I currently have a 6-24x50 PST Vortex on my 18" POF 415. I also own a billet JP rifle. I mainly use my JP for long range varmint hunting, so I figure I would set my POF up for 100-200yrd kills etc. and Vortex looks to big on it anyways. So what's the best 1-4 or?? For the features and the $$$$??

Any opinions are welcome . I want a could scope with good glass that takes adjustments good.

Brands I have in mind but if any others or any other xpower scopes I should look at let me know.

Trijicon

Vortex PST possibly Razor

Burris XTR

Leupolds ? Which models?

Etc let me know what you guys think since I've never owned a 1-4 or anything like it .

A lot of 1-6x and 1-8x optics are coming out this summer. Even if they are not a true 1x ... it's still pretty awesome. Their prices aren't that low though

I like my Leupold Mark AR 1.5-4X, and the guys at the range who look through it comment on how "clear" it is.

Let's see weaver tactical 1-5 670.00, burris tac 30 1-4 300.00, nikon m-223 1-4 230.00, and now my top 2 are leupold vx-6 1-6 900.00, and my best one is the nightforce nxs 1-4 1260.00. The nikon is the only one not illuminated. good luck

Every brand you posted  will be great.  On which Leupold You can go two ways.  The VX-R line which has the patrol or go up to the mark 4 which used the same illuminated redicle.  I own the vx-r and love it. Here is a good thread about it.

I wouldn't drop below the vx-r line due the the tube size.  Stay with the 30mm, in all pic which redicle you like and type of turrets you require.
Pic oh my vx-r with LaRue LT-104
