| I got a Colt 6920 that I want to put an EOtech on. I have a 512 on one of my other rifles and love it, however it won't fit the 6920 with the Magpul BUS. There are several EOtechs that are of smaller dimensions lengthwise so I just need to know which one. |

Tons of rail space left (I put it as far forward on the upper receiver as I can). I have a KAC micro rear sight currently, but before that was a Magpul Gen 2. Fit fine with plenty to spare. I'd go EXPS or XPS with your decision being whether or not you want co-witness or lower 1/3. |

It shouldn't be too hard to look at a pic and determine if you have enough space in the upper, esp if all you have are an Eotech and an MBUS. |

EXPS2 is what I have on mine. I had the 512, but sold it and never looked back. I too love Eotech's, the size of the EXPS2 makes it an awesome Carbine optic. I also prefer the side mounted controls, this is very important if you are going to use a magnifier.

Maybe the 512 you have is an older model that's not relieved at the bottom front for the handguards? The newer ones have more room there for that reason.
