I have an Eotech 551 that was manufactured 8/03 according to the box and the sticker on the bottom of the unit. How do I know which "Revision" this is?

Mine has it printed on the EOthing itself, right next to the thumb screw.

I think Eotech only started labeling their sights with the revision at F. The F should be on the sight hood, under the laser warning sticker. Chances are, you've got an E revision. I've got a 511 E that was made about the same time period.

I would also guess that it is an "E".
