[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which Lower?

So I've read most of the posts and have a few questions.

If I want to build a rifle, which lower usually is the most consistent in looks, color, precision, and mates up the best?

Which upper kit or complete kit goes best with which lower? I don't want to break the bank for a carry weapon.

Spike's Tactical and Anvil Arms use LAR lowers. The finish on these is pretty consistant. Always a nice dark even black.

I've been waiting since August 06 for 3 RRA lowers, I had this feeling that I probably wouldn't get them. So I bought 3 Anvil Arms stripped lowers and they look awesome, the price is great $100 a piece, and the customer service is even better.

would they match color with a mil spec upper?

Anvil Arms lowers and uppers are milspec so they should match as far as color.
