I just ordered the Noveske Vtac 14.5 with vortex upper...took about 3 weeks.

I favor the 10.5 also, on the Vltor VIS.

If you are going to go SBR then go with the 10.5

If not and a pinned 14.5-16 OL   then get the Afgan.

I chose the 14.5" with pinned vortex to make the barrel lenght 16".  By TX law you can't have a rifle with less than 16".  I didn't want it to be a LEO only weapon since this is my personal rifle I carry on duty.  

However, at the moment it is wrapped under our Christmas tree...my wife won't let me have it yet.  Since she paid, I'm not complaining too much.

is that a 9" VIS 2 with a 10.5" barrel? Noveske does the CQB with an extended 10" VIS 2A with a 10.5" barrel... I am thinking about having them switch my order to a 9" VIS 2 but I don't know if that is possible. Still waiting for a reply from Sheri.
