I am looking to get a Single Point Sling for my new AR, it is a Spikes Tactical Dedicated 22, with a 16" (looks like a 14.5") barrel, with a collapsible stock. I have never owned a Single Point Sling so I am not sure which one to get, I have a receiver endplate to attach it to, I need a clip/hook style one not a QD.

I have looked at the Magpul, TROY and KZ slings so far but only online, and there isnt a shop around for about 200 miles that sells tactical stuff, and all of my friends are too poor to have anything other than their grandfathers shotgun, not that there is anything wrong with that. I have a mid size build and plan to use this rifle for mostly plinking and maybe the occasional squirrel hunt.

I prefer the Magpul.

I have an A TAC single point that I added a QD to one end along with the factory clip. It's on a YHM upper, and I put the QD stud at the front of the rail so it can be used as 1/2 point. Paid 16 at a local shop and they are bout 25 at Outdoor Connection on web. Hope this helps.
