Right now I have an A2 stock with a Accuracy Speaks adj butt pad on one of my guns that gives me the best cheek weld and L.O.P.
Just put together a midlength gun with a 6 pos. stock that does not do it for me, too much pitch and not solid enough.

I have no place to handle these in person so my questions are:

LMT SOPMOD or Magpul 93b?
How long are these stocks,1/2in longer than an A2 or more?
Is the pitch (angle of butt plate)  on a Magpul 0 deg. (90 deg. to bore)?
I like the pitch on the LMT appears to be 0 deg.
Which has the highest comb?
Which is heavier?
Which is as solid as an A2 if any?
T.I.A. for any help.

I'll answer the questions I can and refer you to the thread I started that's tacked at the top of the AR15 forum:

Choosing the best collapsible stock for "you"

Ok, the M93B butt plate has a slight angle to it. I'm not an engineer and I don't own a protractor so I can't tell exactly what the angle is. It is slight and very comfortable and, as I found out last night, I can stand my ARs straight up on the end of the stock and they won't fall over.

As far as the highest comb, they are both the same (pretty much level with the receiver) but Magpul is coming out with a cheek riser that bolts/clamps onto the buffer tube. As far as I know, the LMT has nothing like this.

Check the thread I linked to for the info such as LOP and weight. As far as rigidity, the Magpul is as rigid as a fixed stock.

The Magpul is a great stock and wins by a nose on rigidity, although on most receiver extensions the SOPMOD is very tight.  The SOPMOD is my favorite stock as far as comfort, I like the straight buttpad, the fact that it has the built in buttpad, the storage, the cheekweld....it's a very nice stock.

However, the VLTOR, Magpul and SOPMOD (LMT) are all excellent stocks so if possible try to find one of each and try them before you buy.
